To become a member of CartStars, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Executive Level: You must be a Head of level or above within your organization (e.g., VP, Director, or C-Suite).
  • Full-Time, In-House: You must work full-time and in-house on the brand side, meaning you are not a consultant, agency employee, or on the SaaS/service provider side.
  • Brand Revenue: The brand you work for must generate a minimum of $10 million in annual revenue.

We accept a diverse group of leaders from various functions across retail and eCommerce, such as marketing, operations, technology, finance, and more. We believe that varied perspectives create richer conversations and deeper insights.

There is no fee to join CartStars. At the core, we are a knowledge and insight-sharing community. Our true currency is contribution—members are expected to actively participate, share their expertise, and engage with the community. This is what allows CartStars to thrive as a space for genuine connections and valuable peer-to-peer learning.

Contribution at CartStars can take many forms, whether big or small. It could be as simple as answering a quick question or offering a tip once a month. You can also contribute by introducing vendors you’ve worked with and can recommend, sharing job opportunities or making introductions, and bringing in new members who fit our ethos. Anything that helps drive the community forward—whether it’s sharing insights, resources, or connections—is valuable.

At CartStars, members earn Stars for their contributions to the community. The more you contribute—by sharing insights, offering recommendations, or connecting fellow members—the more Stars you earn. Members with high levels of contribution can unlock exclusive experiences, such as retreats, private events, and other premium benefits. Contribution is not only appreciated but rewarded in meaningful ways that enrich your membership experience.
